*******Very Important Render Info*******

Make sure when you render in 3D Max that you use Microsoft Video 1 as your compression type. If you render as MJPEG you will find that Premiere Pro does not play the AVI file.

Also the size of your render should be 800x600. You can choose a larger size, but beware it will take longer to render.

During this semester you will be modelling and then animating. The chart below demonstrates the stages you should aim to progress through by the end of the module.


3D Modelling in semester one has taught you half of the skills you will need.

During this module we will focus on skeletal rigging, skinning and animating.

Please do NOT spend the 8 weeks of the module modelling and then rush the animation. Manage your time so that you spend an equal amount of time on both.
